Niš will get a modern shotgun in October next year and its construction will begin this year after the ongoing public procurement procedure has been carried out. Bidding companies interested in building will be open for that day, more precisely on August 2nd. The estimated value of the shooting is 112 million dinars and will be built with the funds of the Ministry of Economy and the City of Nis. Pavlovic said that the Ministry of Economy has approved the construction of a modern shooter in the city of Nis within the last years public call "Building Together". This project is one of the three projects that the city of Niš applied last year to the public invitation of the Ministry of Economy "Building Together", which were approved for financing.
"The estimated value of the project is 112 million dinars, from which the City assumes the obligation of co-financing from the Nis budget to a maximum of 70 million dinars, and the rest is financed by the loan funds from the European Investment Bank from this program. The final value will be determined after signing the contract with the selected bidder, "said Pavlovic.
The city of Niš has never before had an archer that fulfills the conditions for organizing the competition, and the space where the members of the shooting club Nis 1881 are trained is unquestionable.
"The shooting club Niš 1881 will finally get a modern facility that meets all the standards of the International Federation, so we expect that after the completion of the works where the deadline is envisaged for 300 days, the city of Niš and the Shooting Club will get one of the most modern and attractive facilities on the territory of central Serbia," he added. Pavlovic.
The shooters will be built in the area between the stadium "Železnicar" and the "Cair" swimming pool (near the Niroši clinic) as an upgrade of the building that was the starting point and the ground floor was built in 1991. According to the design estimates, the building is usable and reconstruction of the ground floor will be done, the construction of a protective structure on the floor will be done.
"Within this facility, the construction of a bowling alley is also planned, as a commercial property that is not financed by the funds of this project," explained Pavlovic.
