The Central Agency for General Tender of National Petroleum Company of Kuwait (KNPC) has agreed to award the tender for the electrical maintenance of the refinery and the LNG production units in the companys operations premises at Al-Ahmadi refinery to Fawaz Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Company for 18.9 million dinars.
The agency also approved a tender for the maintenance of control equipment and systems within the operating areas of the Mina Al Ahmadi refinery on the company "Venisco" International Company for General Trading and Contracting worth 21.8 million dinars, according to the newspaper "Al Rai".
It also approved the tender for the mechanical maintenance of Mina Abdulla refinery on the heavy engineering and shipbuilding company worth KD 38.7 million, as well as a tender for the maintenance and repair of tanks at Mina Abdullah refinery and local marketing.
The agency also agreed to put forward the technical support agreement, support the readiness programs, the efficiency of the operation of the processing, the pilot operation, the integrated performance tests and the receipt of the different production units to the qualified and specified companies.
On the other hand, the Central Agency for General Tender of KOC agreed to award the tender for the development of specialized technical competencies for the operations of KOC and maintenance of Al-Omar General Trading and Contracting Company (the lowest prices) with a value of KD 11.3 million.
Kuwait Oil Company has also agreed to tender for the provision of comprehensive maintenance services for fire and gas detection systems in the South and East regions, and the export and maritime operations are limited to the list of companies of the specialized category (29), which are certified and approved by KOC.
The Authority approved the tender for the development of electricity distribution network and associated works for the submersible electric pumps in the wells of western Kuwait, to be limited to the specialized category (5), which were approved and approved by Kuwait Oil according to the principles and criteria of selection and qualification.
