President Danny Faure has announced the appointment of the Members of the National Tender Board, which takes effect from 1st of August, 2018, for a period of three years, in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2008. The Board will be chaired by Mrs Mina Crea. The other Members of the Board are Mr Denis Matatiken, Ms Astride Tamatave, Mr Nicholas Boullé, Mr Jude Fred, Ms Alexandra Benoiton and Mr Eddy Mancienne. The function of the National Tender Board is to approve all major public procurement of goods, services and labour, in a transparent, competitive and equitable manner, so as to obtain the best value for money. The President also thanked the Members of the outgoing National Tender Board for contribution they had made during their term of office. |
