Work Detail Blagoveshchensk, July 20 - IA Neftegaz.RU. Blagoveshchenskiy SZ launched a small hydrographic vessel (IGS) Alexander Rogotsky of Project 19910 in mid-201. The vessel is designed to carry out hydrographic and mastermatching works in the coastal regions of the seas of Russia, in the satellite imagery of the bottom relief, which is so necessary for making maps and for laying the routes of submarines. The main task is setting and removal of navigation buoys, maintenance of navigation equipment, transportation of various cargoes. Now there are 1 MGS on the Pacific Fleet. The home port of IGU A. Rogotsky will be Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. In the meantime, there will be testing and debugging of IGS systems. Readiness of IGU is about 70%. The final tuning will be carried out in Vladivostok, where by September 2018 the tugboats will be led by IGU A. Rogotsky. The delivery date to the fleet is the beginning of 2019. Characteristics of IGU Alexander Rogotsky: - displacement of 1227 tons; - length 59 m and width 11.4 m; - board height 5.4 m; - Enhanced ice class Arc4; - Maximum travel speed: 12.5 knots - Range of navigation: 2000 miles. - Endurance: 15 days. - independent navigation in sparse 1-year Arctic ice at a thickness of up to 0.6 m in winter-spring navigation and up to 0.8 m in summer-autumn; - navigation in the canal behind the icebreaker in 1-year Arctic ice up to 0.7 m thick in winter-spring and up to 1 m in summer-autumn navigation; - modern movable-steering complex on the basis of a diesel-electric installation working on the rotor columns ( VRK ) and bow thruster; - a 2-hook electro-hydraulic crane with a lifting capacity of 8 tons was installed at the boom of 12 m; - crew of the vessel - 22 people. The vessel is named after the Rear Admiral, a military hydrographer, and the front-line soldier Alexander Aleksandrovich Rogotsky (1918-2000). The daughter of I. Tumanov took part in the ceremony. It is also worth noting that the name AA. Rogotsky is named not only the IGS, but also the seamount in the Chukchi Sea, north of Wrangel Island. The general director of Blagoveshchensk SZ noted V.Popov that the size of the vessel is almost the limit for the enterprises capabilities. In fact, this is the largest order for the entire 130-year history of the Blagoveshchensk NW. The construction of Alexander Rogotsky began in February 2016 , before that the plant had already carried out the orders of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation . In the period from 2013 to 2015, the company sent to the bases of the Pacific Fleet 3 large hydrographic boats with a length of about 34 m each. According to information from the press service of the Government of the Amur Region, the plant has already started construction of the next BGK. Now there is only one such vessel in the Pacific Fleet. The port of registration of "Alexander Rogotsky" will be Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Shipbuilders are going to surrender the ship at the beginning of next year.
