Moscow, July 18 - IA Neftegaz.RU. In Kaliningrad, the construction of the Pregol TPP continues. The customer of the construction is Kaliningrad Generation.
The project is managed by OOO Inter RAO - Electricity Generation Management. The general contractor is OOO Inter RAO-Engineering.
The new power plant will consist of 4 x combined-cycle plants with an electric capacity of 110 MW.
The following equipment is included in each CCGT:
- gas turbine of type 6F.03 (PG6111FA) with a capacity of 77.9 MW (OOO Russian Gas Turbines);
- Recovery boiler (JSC "Podolsky machine-building plant");
- a steam turbine K-38-8.0 produced by JSC "KTZ" (PJSC "Power Machines").
As reported by LLC "Kaliningrad Generation", at present gas is supplied to the gas preparation station (BCP). Here, fuel is purified for the power units of TPPs. Then follows the stage of preparation for the first ignition of turbines.
The PPG produced by ENERGAZ is installed on the territory of Kaliningrad CHPP-2, which is adjacent to the power plant under construction.
The gas preparation station is a technological installation, including several block-boxes with equipment for various purposes, which, when assembled, are docked together in a single building with a common roof.
In addition to the inlet filtration unit and the fine gas purification system, the unit is equipped with a condensate drainage unit with an underground reservoir, a commercial gas metering unit with ultrasonic flowmeters, a gas heating unit, and a reduction system.
To determine the component composition and calorific value of PPG fuel, it is also equipped with a continuous gas flow chromatograph (calorimeter) with a sampling device.
The multi-unit gas preparation station "ENERGAZ" will operate in automatic mode. The local automatic control system is integrated into the automated process control system at Pregolskaya TPP and will provide remote control of equipment , control of gas contamination in the room, output of information on the status of all elements and systems of PPGs to the operator panel.
Gas pressure at the entrance to the PPG varies in the range 1.2 ... 4.14 MPa. The rated capacity of the plant is 106,000 Nm 3 / h.
The start-up of Pregolskaya TPP will make the power system of the Kaliningrad region more maneuverable. The first power unit of the builders intend to start as early as 2018. The fourth is planned to be introduced in a year.
The total installed capacity of the TPP is 456 MW. This will be the most powerful power plant of the new generation, which will become the basis for the energy security of the entire region.
