The City of Dubrovnik initiated an open procedure of public procurement of high value for "Performing works on reconstruction - upgrading and upgrading of the Montovjerna Regional School". The call for tenders was submitted to the publication in the Electronic Public Procurement Agency of the Republic of Croatia and the Official Journal of the EU, with the date of its publication on 26 June 2018.
The deadline for submitting bids is 1 August 2018 to 10:00 am and the estimated value of the investment is 52 million kuna, excluding VAT.
Recall, the City of Dubrovnik as an investor received in April a construction permit for the reconstruction project - extension and upgrading of the Montovjerna regional school. The planned project will satisfy the contemporary spatial-technical conditions, the needs of the curriculum and the capacity for organizing one-time tuition for students from the first to the eighth grade. The school will accommodate 448 pupils, 28 students in 16 departments, 8 lower and 8 higher in one shade.
The existing building is upgraded for one floor and partially descends into the basement and is spatially adapted and linked with the addition. The upgraded part of the school building will also have four floors (basement, ground floor and two floors), while the sports hall connects to the rooms in the basement. A total of 16 new classrooms and a two-part sports hall with accompanying facilities, dining rooms and libraries, additional classrooms for elective subjects, and pedagogical and psychological facilities will be built.
All the roofs are flat, with a gravel in the colors as the final layer, and part of the roof of the sports hall will be arranged as a schoolyard with a playground for the lower age, which will be coated with a rubber coating and horticulturally decorated. The green area occupies as much as 36% of the construction plot that will be horticulturally edited by planting indigenous Mediterranean herbs. The school parking area will have 24 parking spaces. The school is designed as a building with almost zero energy consumption, energy grade A +, equipped with modern outdoor joinery and exterior walls. It will be equipped with a modern heating and cooling system, and for the heating of hot water is provided a solar collector system.
The architectural-urbanistic solution was followed by taking into account all the energy, social and ecological aspects of sustainability and pedagogical standards, all in accordance with the project of Maja and Ide Polzer, based on which the main building project for the building permit of the company Arhingtrade doo from Zagreb was elaborated.
