Large numbers of fork-lift trucks, pallet trucks, stackers and reach trucks will be delivered to the Royal Netherlands Army, Air Force, Navy and Marechaussee over the next four years. MotracLinde received this order. In addition to supplying the equipment, the forklift supplier will also maintain the fleet.
The Defense organization last year went in search of a strategic cooperation partner for the internal transport equipment of all defense components. This need was made known to the market through an open tender. Besides modernization of the fleet, sustainability and unburdening of defense were important selection criteria. MotracLinde won this assignment on the basis of the award on value method. On 26 June, the cooperation for the delivery and maintenance of all newly delivered internal means of transport was concluded with a signature with Brigade General Ir. GL Schonewille of the Material Logistics Commando of the Royal Netherlands Army.
Worry
MotracLinde will mainly supply electrically powered forklift trucks, pallet trucks, stackers and reach trucks. This will replace all old diesel-driven internal transport vehicles in phases and create a more sustainable fleet with greater uniformity. The forklift supplier also helps Defense to comply with the legislation for diesel engine emissions. Over the next decade, MotracLinde relieves defense completely in the deployment and maintenance of the delivered equipment.
