Public Council under the head of Dzerzhinsk Nizhny Novgorod region will consider the issue of increasing funding for the improvement of cemeteries. This was announced by the press service of the City Duma on June 5, 2018.
According to the information, the council members visited the churchyard during a visiting workshop. Valery Chumazin, Chairman of the Council, Khusain Sabitov, Chairman of the Committee on Housing and Communal Services, Transport and Communications, and his members Lyubov Shvedova and Boris Simagin took part in the event. They evaluated the sanitary condition of the city cemetery and discussed with the director of the Department of Housing and Communal Services Denis Dergunov and the director of the RITUAL ICU Natalia Migunova the most acute issues regarding the content of the pogost.
Migunova said that 4.5 million rubles have been allocated to the current work of the institution, which has six cemeteries (a city cemetery, as well as a graveyard in Gavrilovka, Gorbatovka, Igumnovo, Pyre and Pyrsky yards), of which 3 million rubles are allocated for works on collection and disposal of waste from the territory of urban and settlement cemeteries (these funds within the contract will be removed five thousand cubic meters of waste).
She noted that for a year in cemeteries accumulated twice as much waste - 11 thousand cubic meters. m, of which 9 thousand cubic meters. m - on the city. To withdraw and dispose of all this garbage, you need 6.6 million rubles. In addition, according to the calculations of the ISU, about 2 million rubles are required for cleaning almost 280 emergency trees. Thus, the need for running costs for the institution is higher.
According to the public opinion, all the garbage accumulated in the cemetery must be exported, since its volume will only grow further, which means that it will be more difficult to solve the problem over time.
Also, Migunova told the council representatives about the calculations for measures to further develop urban and settlement cemeteries. In addition to the repair of container sites, the purchase of road signs and signposts, the installation of fencing, the question of the need for work on the planning of the area and felling in the cemeteries at Sverdlov and in Gavrilovka is already acute, which in the short term should be expanded to meet the burial dead residents. In particular, the planning and felling of forests in the territory of eight hectares of the city cemetery requires 5.7 million rubles.
After the inspection of the city cemetery, it was decided to include the issue of sanitary maintenance and improvement of the city cemetery in the agenda of the next meeting of the public council.
