Construction crews are working to get two modular classrooms at Sheldon High School back up and running after one was destroyed in a fire. Crews are fixing the deck in between the two classrooms that broke out in flames about a month ago. School officials said they''re rewiring one of the buildings. The other one has been demolished and removed. The new building is expected to be delivered by October. Until then, students who use the classroom will have to move inside the main building. “That includes the school newspaper, a math class, and a special education class, said Kerry Delf, 4J spokesperson. Those classes will have to use other space in the building. The school is having to make some adjustments to be sure they have space and are ready for the start of the school year. The fire did about $150,000 in damage. |
