Finnish IT company Tieto said it has won a three-year contract from the borough council of Haninge, located in Stockholm county and Sodermanland province. Following a public procurement procedure, Tieto has signed the agreement worth approximately SEK 18 million to provide comprehensive IT services. There is an option to extend the contract by another three years. The agreement includes application management, server capacity, cloud services and system operation, as well as consulting services. It gives the municipality increased access to cost-effective services within Tietos platforms, too. Haninge CIO Magnus Stromberg said the agreement will enable the council to support its residents while reducing the total cost of IT. Tieto and Haninge municipality have been collaborating since 2011. |
