Southern Regional College’s new £35 million Armagh campus development has been recognised as Northern Ireland’s best initiative at the Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards Northern Ireland.
The campus development, designed by WYG Group, will go forward to represent Northern Ireland at the national awards next month.
The GO Awards Northern Ireland recognise public sector procurement excellence, celebrate the role public, private and third sector organisations play in supporting the delivery of public services and are the benchmark by which progress in public sector commissioning is measured.
After winning the GO Procurement Innovation / Initiative of the Year Award, SRC chief executive Brian Doran thanked the project team led by Ruairi Lavery.
Grahame Steed, Chair of the Northern Ireland GO Awards Judging Panel said the judging panel was impressed with "the quality and variety of the submissions, which clearly demonstrate Northern Ireland’s growth in this area". |
