WinStar World Casino opened its convention center on Friday, culminating more than a year of construction. The convention center is more than 65,000 square-feet, and has a grand ballroom, a junior ballroom, and three executive board rooms. Construction began in April 2015. The project was originally slated to be complete by July, but rain delays pushed it to September. The grand ballroom can accomodate up to 1,000 guests, and the junior ballroom, which can be divided into four smaller rooms, can fit up to 700 people.
