The latest rumors indicate that Microsoft Corporation is finally going to release its highly anticipated all-in-one Surface PC during a live hardware event in late October. The upcoming Surface PC, codenamed Cardinal, is believed to be a consumer version of the software giant’s Surface Hub. All three versions are designed to convert your desk into a fully functional ‘studio’. The upcoming device should run on the latest Windows 10 Redstone operating system, powered by the released Intel Kaby Lake processor, making the device ultra-fast and efficient at power consumption. The device is believed to incorporate Perceptive Pixel Screen Technology, which will improve the multi-touch experience of the device. It will aim to compete with the current and upcoming laptop and PC devices. The next 6 months are expected to be very important for Microsoft, as it launches a host of new Surface devices that have the potential to make a significant impact in the tech market.
