Tale of the tape at Green Hydrogen Summit More than $83.5 million (around R1.49 billion): The amount South Africa has invested in the Hydrogen South Africa programme ~$37 million (around R657m): The amount the Public Investment Corporation (PIC), Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA), and Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) have committed to the SA-H2 Fund. This a blended finance facility advancing South Africa’s energy transition and green hydrogen economy $20 million (around R355m): The first investment made by SA-H2 in development funding to the Hive Coega Green Ammonia Project.
