The order, confirmed on May 28, 2025, involves the supply of 586 megawatts (MW) worth of solar modules to a prominent U.S.-based developer and operator of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This contract marks one of the largest single-module supply agreements for Waaree Solar Americas and highlights growing international demand for Indian-manufactured solar technology. According to an official disclosure made by Waaree Energies to the BSE and NSE under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the project is scheduled to commence deliveries from the financial year 2026-27. While the identity of the client remains undisclosed, Waaree described the customer as a renowned U.S. entity with deep involvement in renewable infrastructure. The contract is classified as a one-time supply arrangement and does not fall under related party transactions, confirming that there is no promoter or group company interest involved. Waaree Energies, headquartered in Mumbai, continues to be a front-runner in India’s solar manufacturing industry.
