The Process Equipment division of the Godrej Enterprises Group has successfully delivered critical components to one of the world’s largest blue ammonia production plants located in the Middle East. This milestone highlights the company’s growing expertise in manufacturing advanced process equipment and its expanding contribution to the global clean energy transition. For this project, the division supplied key equipment made from low alloy steel, including four high-pressure exchangers and one high-pressure separator. These exchangers are engineered to withstand high temperatures and pressures, ensuring high energy efficiency and effective heat recovery. Two of the exchangers measure nearly 26 meters in length, and the total weight of the equipment is approximately 250 metric tonnes. Hussain Shariyarr, Executive Vice President & Business Head, Process Equipment, a part of Godrej Enterprises, said in a statement, “This project represents yet another milestone for the Process Equipment business and demonstrates our commitment to supporting the global transition to cleaner energy sources. Our advanced engineering capabilities and manufacturing excellence have positioned us as a trusted partner for critical equipment in complex energy projects worldwide.”The delivery aligns with the global push toward renewable energy and decarbonization, as blue ammonia is gaining attention as a cleaner energy alternative. By serving this sector, the company continues to position itself as a reliable partner in hydrogen and ammonia-based energy solutions. Previously, the division also supplied heat exchangers for one of the largest commercial-scale green hydrogen production facilities in the Middle East. It is currently executing additional orders for blue hydrogen projects in the Americas, further strengthening its presence in the global clean energy landscape. |
