| Work Detail | Nairobi has doubled its funding for studies to develop the 824km Lokichar-Lamu crude oil pipeline (LLCOP), designed to take crude from the South Lokichar oil fields to the port of Lamu. State funding for upstream exploration has also increased, in a sign that Kenya is intent on developing its oil resources, with a bidding round also being prepared. |
