Supply of Carpentry Workshop Machines WWF Tanzania Country Office through the Forest Programme has set aside the funds to construct a pilot community carpentry workshop as part of the community livelihood improvement around the protected areas such as village land forest reserves. The carpentry workshop will employ a selected group of youth at Sauti Moja in Tunduru district to improve the product value of VLFRs as a result to improve the livelihoods. This will bring improved technologies to add value to forest products harvested in their forests unlike selling standing trees which is the current practice.
