The Project Will Be Delivered In Two Parts;•Part One: The Construction Of The Works For The Washdown Bays;•Part Two: Store And Disposal Of The Spoil, The Location For The Dumping For The Spoil Will Be Identified Following Testing.Part One – Involving The Construction Of The Works For The Washdown Bays Will Be Treated Separate And Receive Practical Completion Signoff For That Portion Of The Works.Part Two – Is Expected To Continue To Run Past The Completion Of Part One. The Excess Spoil Will Be Stockpiled On Site At Riverview Depot. The Contractor Is To Price A Double Wrap To The Stockpile On Site At Riverview Depot. The Contractor Is To Price Double Wrap To The Stockpile With Plastic And Provide Environmentally Approved Bunting To Correctly Contain Any Runoff While Stored At The Depot.The Contractor Is To Source And Engage A Suitably Qualified Firm To Test The Stockpiled Spoil To Determine The Level Of Contamination And Then The Location Of Dumping. The Contractor Is To Retain All Dump Fee Dockets And Provide Them To The Superintendent Or His Representative. Ipswich City Council Will Pay The Dump Fees. The Contractor Is To Meet The Cost Of All Loading And Transporting Fees, The Contractor Is To Provide A Transport Price Per Kilometre With Their Tender Submission They Will Also Need To Provide The Distance To The Dump Site With Evidence Of The Number Of Trips.
