Holistic Research and Analysis: Our expertise in comprehensive research, assessments, evaluations, and monitoring spans various domains, including Post-Earthquake Recovery and Reconstruction, Shelters and Settlements, WASH, Early Recovery, Infrastructure Rehabilitation, Construction Development, Environmental Adaptation, Climate Change Resilience, Agricultural Advancements, Irrigation Innovations, and Empowerment of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Pioneering Engineering Solutions: We harness cutting-edge engineering and frontier technologies to create solutions that have a tangible impact on humanitarian and developmental challenges. We are seeking qualified Arabic-speaking international experts to support a market access coaching and business matchmaking initiative for Syrian agro-food SMEs. This assignment is part of a pilot programme aimed at enhancing the export capabilities of Syrian SMEs and facilitating access to international markets. Experts will work closely with selected SMEs through a mix of in-person workshops, online coaching, and virtual B2B matchmaking events. Expert Profiles Sought We invite applications from individual consultants with a proven track record in one or more of the following areas: 1. Export Readiness & Export Strategy Experts 5+ years of experience supporting SMEs in export development. Ability to assess and enhance export readiness. Experience in creating actionable export strategies for new or early-stage exporters. 2. International Market Research Experts Experience conducting market research for agro-food sectors. Ability to identify priority export markets and develop tailored market entry strategies. 3. Export Logistics & Operations Experts Knowledge in export documentation, logistics planning, and cost analysis. Experience working with SMEs in complex or fragile environments is a plus. 4. Export Marketing & Digital Branding Experts Skills in developing digital marketing strategies, improving online presence (websites, social media), and creating compelling company/product profiles. Experience in B2B promotion and trade show preparation. 5. B2B Matchmaking & Buyer Engagement Experts Experience organizing or facilitating online B2B events with international buyers. Strong network in agro-food markets and ability to connect SMEs with suitable buyers or distributors. Experience preparing SMEs for pitching and deal negotiation. Minimum Requirements Proven experience (5+ years) in the relevant technical area(s). Fluency in Arabic and excellent communication skills. Prior experience working with SMEs in the MENA region, preferably in agro-food sectors. Familiarity with coaching methodologies and participatory adult learning approaches.
