Tenders are invited for Transportation of Kengen Goods from Mombasa Port (Kilindini), Inland Cointainer Depot (Icd-Nairobi), Loose Cargo from Mombasa Port, Jkia- Nairobi and Mia-Mombasa to Various Kengen Power Stations for Two Years (2025 to 2027) and Return of Empty Container to the Shipping Line (Re-Tender) KenGen PLC invites sealed tenders from eligible candidates for the Tender for transportation of KenGen goods from Mombasa Port (Kilindini), Inland Container Depot (ICD-Nairobi), Loose Cargo from Mombasa Port, JKIA- Nairobi and MIA-Mombasa to various KenGen Power Stations for two years (2025 To 2027) and Return of Empty Container to the shipping line, whose specifications are detailed in the Tender Document. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method to [Citizen Contractors] using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security as part of the bid document. All tender securities submitted shall be subject to authentication by KenGen. The Original Tender Security of KES 200,000 or equivalent in a freely convertible currency valid for 30 days beyond the tender validity period, in form of: Tender Security from a reputable bank registered by the Central Bank of Kenya Guarantee issued by a financial institution approved and licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya. A guarantee by an insurance company registered and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority listed by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
