Supplier/S Of Licenced Remotely Piloted Aircraft (Rpa) Pilots, Support Staff And Agricultural Spreading Rpas Are Required To Spread Granular Fire Ant Treatment Product Over A Variety Of Private And Publicly Owned Property And Landscape Types Within The Fire Ant Suppression Area Of South East Queensland, Commencing As Soon As Possible Until 30 June 2026 (The Current Funding Period). Rpas Are Required To Distribute Fire Ant Treatment Product Over A Total Area Of Approximately 40,000 Hectares Each Year (2024-25 And 2025-26), Resulting In A Total Treatment Area Of 80,000 Hectares. To Fulfil The Estimated Work Requirements, More Than One Supplier May Be Contracted To Ensure A Total Treatment Area Of 80,000 Hectares Is Achieved Before 1 June 2026.
