Marine Research Services- Charter Of A Diving Robot (Remotely Operated Vehicle, Rov) During The Explorierung Mangan 2026 (So317) In The Bgr Manganese Nollen License Area (Nepacifik) Including Delivery & Personnel Position. In July 2006, The Federal Institute For Geosciences And Raw Materials (Bgr) Signed A Contract For The Exploration Of Manganese Naps In The Northeastern Pacific With The International Marine Floor Authority (Imb) And Has Since Carried Out Resource Assessments As Well As Baseline And Impact Environmental Investigations In Its License Area In The Clarion Clipperon Breaking Zone (Ccz). As Part Of An Upcoming Exploration Trip In The Eastern Part Of The Bgr License Area, The Bgr Intends The Charter Of An Underwater Diving Robot (Remotely Operated Vehicle, Rov) For The Entire Duration From 29.12.201.201.202.2026) For The Entire Duration. The Expedition Is Carried Out Under The Password Manganese 2026 And Has Three Essential Goals:-Extensive Environmental Monitoring Of An Area In Which A Test Of The Collector Prototype Patania Ii Of The Belgian Company Global Sea Resources (Gsr) Was Mined. The Test Area Of Patania Ii And The Control Reference Area Are To Be Visited Again About Five Years After The Disorder And Tested And Examined In Detail; - Comprehensive Biogeochemical Evaluation Of Trace Elements, Macronutrients As Well As Oxygen And Carbon Concentrations In The Entire Water Column And On The Sediment-Water Border Area; - Sampling And Fauna Analyzes In Spatially Far (20-100 Km) From Each Other Away. Above All, The Rov Is To Be Carried Out: (1) Video-Controlled Megauna Mapping And Testing, (2) Targeted Sampling Of The Floor Sediments (Push-Coring), (3) Positioning, Activation And Recovery Of Oxygen Measuring Devices (Microfilers) And Benthic Chambers On The Sea Floor, And (4) In Situ Ecotoxity Experiments. The Operating Areas Include Water Depths Between 4000 And A Maximum Of 4500 Meters. The Collected Samples And Data As Well As The Image Material Along Predefined Sea Floor Transformations Will Provide Knowledge About The Environmental Impact Of Patania Ii And The Natural Spatial Variability Of Different Environmental Parameters In The Lower Water Column And On The Sea Floor. The Planned Environmental Monitoring And The Baseline Examinations For The Sea Environment And Biodiversity Are Carried Out In Around 38 Working Days In The Collector Test Area, In The Unaffected Control Reference Area And In Six Selected Areas Of Work Distributed Across The Entire Eastern Exploration Area.
