Microelectronic Machinery And Aparatus - Acquisition Of A Multisystem For The Deposit Of Dielectric Layers (Oxides And Nitrides) And Oxidation (Silicon). The Nanophotonic Technology Institute (Ntc) Of The Upv Proposes The Acquisition Of An Advanced Multisystem Equipment For The Deposit Of Dielectric Layers And Oxidation, Key Technologies For The Development Of New Electronic And Photonic Devices In The Process Of Manufacturing Integrated Circuits. This Team Significantly Improves Our Capabilities Since It Would Give The Center With Quality In The Processes And Materials Currently Not Available In The Center. This System Would Also Allow Prosecuting From Small Samples To 8 -Inch Wafers. The Applications And The Processes On Which This Equipment Will Focus Cover Materials And Techniques Such As Pecvd Sixny/Sion/Sio2, Wet Oxidation And Dry Silicon, Lpcvd Stoichiometric Silicon Nitrur Of Integrated Photonics Such As The Manufacture Of Lasers, Modulators And Photodetector For High -Speed Telecommunications Systems, Or The Integration Of Advanced Circuits For Space And Defense Issues, Among Others. Finally, It Should Be Noted That This Team Will Serve More Than 20 Public And Private Institutions. Having A Team Of These Characteristics Would Facilitate Access By The Research Groups Of The Institute To Competitive Research Projects That Are Currently Difficult Because Of The Lack Of These Teams. The Requested Infrastructure Would Put The Ntc Facilities On The First Technological Level And At The Same Time With Leading Centers In Photonics And Communications.
