Glass panes weighing 10 kg/Sq.m. (4mm thick). 44 Renewing glass panes with putty and nailswherever necessary Glass panes weighing 10 kg/m2. (4mm thick), upto 3 mtr. Height from floor level. 45 Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood) shutter including chowkhats,architrave holdfasts etc. complete and stackingany where within NFL complex including dismantling MS Grill from window/vent chowkhats of area 3 Sq.m.. and below.(Double leaf shutter shall be treated as 1 unit only formeasurement). 46 Taking out doors, windows and clerestory windowshutters(steel or wood) including stackingany where in NFL Complex of area 3M2 and below (double leafshutter shall be treated as one unit only). 47 Providing and fixing 20 mm thick 2nd class deodar wood battend door and window shutters with necessary ledges and braces (25 mm) as required at site including bright finished or black enameled MS tee hinges with necessary screws. 48 Taking out holdfast from old chowkhats and re-fixing the same to the new chowkhats making holes in the flat iron and providing 10 mm dia bolts and nuts at required spacing as per available pockets in masonry work complete as per site requirements. 49 Taking out doors/windows/clerestory windows, shutters including removing of fittings & hinges re-fixing the same to the new shutter with new screws bolts and nuts wherever required complete all as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. 50 Providing and fixing sunmica 1 mm thick on cup board shutters, table toppings exposed surfaces of drawers or like of approved brand and manufacturer with reputed make of adhesive complete all as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. 51 Fixing/battened penalled/glazed/wire gauged shutters in doors/ windows/ ventilators frames.Note: Where pair of shutter, rebate to rebate is fixed only one shutter shall be payable on this account. 52 Providing & Replacement of fly proof galvanished M.S. wire gauge to doors. Windows etc. (Wire gauge designation 85G with wire dia 0.56mm). With old / by providing new wooden beeding, wherever required. 53 Providing and fixing / replacingapproved quality hydraulic door closure todoorincluding removal of old one if any with universal type Grade-II. (The contractor should get the material approved from Engineer-in-charge regarding the quality, make etc., before bulk purchase). 54 Providing andfixing / replacing bright finished or/and black enamelled MS helicaldoor spring/coil spring with necessary nuts / bolts / nails / screws etc. 55 Fixing Old glass panes in windows / ventilators by providing Putty / wooden beading wherever required. ( Old Dismentalled glass to be reused by cutting to required sizes). 56 Removing grill from window / ventilatorsincluding un screwing / cuttingby Hexa blade. 57 Fixing of Grills in wooden chokhats with screws / or in concrete / brick masonary (labour charges only). 58 Providing & fixing brass fan light pivot. 59 Providing & fixingbamboo jaffery / fencing consisting of superior quality 25mm dia (av.) half cut bamboo placed vertically and fixed together with three no. horizontal running member of hollock wood in scantling of section 50X25mm fixed with nails and GI wire to existing surface complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 60 Renewal of old putty of glass panes (length) 61 P&F ofcupboard shutter (single or double leaf) with frame of 2nd class deodar wood of main member 50X32mm and 4 nos. intermediate member of 40X32mm size and providing & fixing of 4mm thick commercial ply on the outer side of the frame including fixing of shutter with piano hinges. (Nothing extra shall be payable for piano hinges) 62 Applying priming coat with ready mixed pink or grey primer / red oxide on wooden/ steel surface of approved brand and manufacture on new work. 63 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture in all shades to give an even shade.(two or more coats). 64 Fabrication MS door (Chowkhat + Shutter) with structure steel such as M.S. Aangle,M.S. Plates & M.S. Flats etc. including fitting i.e. handles, sliding door bolt and M.S. butt hinges. (structural steel to be supplied by NFL free of cost). 65 Providing 12mm thick commercial ply conforming to IS : 1328 BWR type. 66 Providing and fixing PVC Door Frame of size 50x47 mm with a wall thickness of 5 mm (± 0.2 mm), made out of single piece extruded PVC profile, with mitred cut joints and joint with 2 nos of PVC bracket of size 190 mm x 100 mm long arms of cross section size 35 x 15 mm & self driven self taping screws, the vertical door profiles to be reinforced with 40x20 mm M.S. rectangular tube of 0.8 mm , including providing EPDM rubber gasket weather seal throughout the frame, including jointing 5mm PVC frame strip with PVC solvent cement on the back of the profile. The door frame to be fixed to the wall using 8 x100 mm long anchor fasteners complete, all as per manufacturer"s specification and direction of Engineer -in- charge. 67 Providing and fixing to existing door frames - 35 mm thick factory made Solid panel PVC Door shutter, made out of single piece extruded soild PVC profiles, 5 mm (± 0.2 mm) thick, having styles & rails (except lock rail) of size 95 mmx 35 mm x 5 mm, out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered (on both side), having one side thickness of 15 mm integrally extruded on the hinge side of the profile for better screw holding power, including reinforcing with MS tube of size 40 mm X 20 mm x 1 mm, joints of styles & rails to be mitered cut & joint with the help of PVC solvent cement, self driven self tapping screws & M.S. rectangular pipes bracket of size 190 mm X 100 mm of cross section size 35 mm x 17 mm x 1 mm at each corner. Single piece extruded 5 mm thick solid PVC Lock rail of size 115 mm x 35 mm, out of which 75 mm to be flat and 20 mm to be tapered at both ends, having 15 mm solid core in middle of rail section integrally extruded, fixing the styles & rails with the help of solvent and self driven self tapping screws of 125 mm x 11 mm, including providing 5 mm Single piece solid PVC extruded sheet inserted in the door as panel, all complete as per manufacturer"s specification and direction of Engineer in-charge. Mtr.) with total coated thickness of 0.58mm. Coated with polyester paint of 12-16 Micron thickness. Sections for Window Frame should be of 72mm x 55mm, Section for Mullion should be of 72mm x 50mm, Section for Shutter Frame should be of 47mm x 20mm, Sections for Fixed Glass Bead should be of 12mm x 12mm, and Section for Fly Mesh should be of 40mm x 20mm.Accessories & Fixing Details: Section for Frame Glazed Shutters and Mesh Shutters should be cut to length and miter joined with Polypropylene Corner Brackets, Mullion Section should be joined with Frame/Mullion using Mullion Cap Ethyl Propylene Damien Monomer (EPDM) Gasket should be used all around glass in shutter and Fixed Glass. Each Glazed Shutter and Mesh shutter should be provided with SS Pivot Hinges – 1 set, Buildtek Handle & 1 no. friction Stay.Window Frame should be fixed to brick/ concrete masonry by using Nylon self expanding caps and driving MS electroplated 80mm longscrews into the caps through frame. 75 Providing & Fixing 5 mm. plain transparent glass for fixed / openable windows & Ventilators make of saint gobain. 76 Providing & Fixing Stainless Steel 32 gauge Fly mesh of 304 grades with 144 holes per square Inch in windows/ventilators. 77 Proving and fixing M.S. Grill made of 10mm sq. M.S. Bars welded to at 125mm center-to-center, 6mm x 12mm M.S. peripheral flat. Total grill unit shall be powder coated and fixed to window frame with concealed beading. 78 Deductions Items against which the material supplied by the contractor shall be received in stores in case the same not fixed at site. 79 a) Deduct for not providing and fixing glass panes in glazed shutters (full area of shutters to be measured). 80 b) Deduct for not providing tee hinges to battened doors / shutters. 81 c) Deduct for not providing MS butt hinges to shutters. 82 d) Deduct for not fixing the door / window/ ventilator shutters in position. 83 e) Deduct for not fixing door spring/ tower bolt/ handle/ s. bolt/ door stopper and link wise items. 84 f) Deduct for not fixing hydraulic door closer, door mortise lack. 85 g) Deduct for not fixing sunmica / plywood/ wood work board etc. at site. 86 h)Deduct for not fixing Chowkhat in position. 87 i) Deduct for not fixing M.S. wire gauge. 88 Note: All unusuable fittings reclaimed from the site shall have to deposited in the Civil Stores.
