The Main Objective Of The Project Is To Contribute To The Improvement Of The Quality Of Life Of The Inhabitants Of The Manuel Rodríguez Neighborhood, Which Presents Serious Problems Of Urban Deterioration, Segregation And Social Vulnerability, Through A Participatory Process Of Recovery Of Public Spaces And The Urban Environments Of Families Through Comprehensive And Participatory Interventions, In Accordance With The Norms Contained In The D.S. No. 14 V. And U. Of 2007, Which Regulates The Neighborhood Recovery Program And Exempt Resolution No. 4119 V. And U. Of 2008, Which Approves The Procedure Manual Program Recovery Of Barrios, And Its Modifications. The Manuel Rodríguez Neighborhood Presents As The Main Problem The Lack Of Consolidated Green Areas, Sports And Recreational Equipment In Poor Condition, Which, Added To A Sustained Increase In Criminal Foci, As Well As Areas Of Insecurity That Facilitate The Commercialization And Consumption Of Drugs, Has Caused A Gradual Deterioration Of The Social Tissue Generating A Marked Tendency To The Individualization And Retraction Of The Neighbors Inside Their Homes. That Is Why One Of The Urgencies Presented By This Historical Neighborhood Is The Recovery Of Its Public Spaces, Providing Areas Of Recreation And Social Coexistence, Where Not Only Its Main Arteries Are Embellished, But Also These Are Areas That Invite The Appropriation Of Public Space, Thus Decreasing Significantly The Insecurity Perceived By The Neighbors.
