Akis Themistocrates Piraeus Is The Southwestern Coastal District Of Piraeus, East Of The Central Port Of Piraeus And Along Its Beach Are The Ancient Long Walls (Walls Of Konona) Protecting The Main Settlement Of Athens And Its Port. It Borders To The North With Gallipoli, To The East With The Saint Basil, To The West And South, It Is In A Huge Length Of The Saronic Gulf, Creating The Piraeus Coast On The Coast Of Themistokleous. Along The Coast Of Themistocleus There Are Three Bays: 1. Of The School Of Naval Tests, Where The Tomb Of Themistocles Is Located, 2. Bay Of Aphrodite, Formerly Called Baikoutsi And 3. Along The Coastline, Health Care Shops And Leisure Centers Are Found. The Landmark Of The Piraeus Coast Are Its Walls, The Themistocles Wall. The Purpose Of The Project Is To Create, Through The Redevelopment Of The Urban Communal Space, Which Is Specified By The Construction Of The Pedestrian Street - A Bicycle Road, An Upgraded Free Public Space, Attributed To Pedestrians, Cyclists, Children Of The Whole Basin. Subscribe Objective - Objectives Of Reference The Object Of This Contract (Under The Process Of Studying) Is The Bioclimatic Regeneration Of The Themistocles Coast, Extending From Alexandrou Zaimi Street To 20M. After General Makrigianni Street And Is 2,510 Meters Long. The Contracting Includes The Study-Construction Of A Single Sidewalk And Bicycle Network, Allowing For Unhindered Pedestrians And Bicycles, And The Creation Of New Communal Free Spaces With Green. The Main Purpose Of The Regeneration Is The Overall And Universal Redevelopment Of The Existing Portion Of The Urban Fabric (Sidewalk - Road - Sidewalk) To The Building Lines Of The Building Blocks.
