complete, including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement completeall as directed. 51 Material and labourcleaning ofsurface with wire brushes and water removing of unsolvent materials and depositing of the same as directed outside MoD land andprovide 10 mm thick screed bed/ bedding layer in CM 1:3 mixed with Water Proofing Compound (WPC) as per manufacturer instructions, including finishing the surface fair and even on RCC roof/ parapet once bedding layer of concrete is completely dried and apply oil bound bituminous primer @ 1.50 Kg/Sqm and providing 3mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane weighing not less than 3.60 Kg/Sqm reinforced with non woven polyster matt weighing not less than 160 gms/Sqm including minimum 10 cm side over laps and 15 cmend lap torch sealed and bonded as per detailed procedure as directed and finally finished the top surface with two coats of thermal resistant paint complete all as specified and as directed.Note: (i) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive cleaningthe entire surfacetosatisfaction ofEnginner-in-charge & removal of debris , 10 mm thick 1:3 screed & complete APP treatment. (ii) WPC will be paid seperately (iii)The work shall be carried out only through manufacturer or their authorised applicator and a written guarantee for work shall be submitted by the manufacturer for the effectiveness of WPT (iv) Care shall be taken to avoid wrinkle and air gaps while sticking membrane to the bitumen applied surface. 52 Treatment to sunken floor slab comprisingthe stage wise treatment as under : (i) Cleaning of the sunken / lowered portion of RCC slab surface (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chiseling out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming / washing completely & laying40 mm average thick PCC 1.2.4 type B0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stoneaggregate as in padding concrete to achieve proper slope including 50 mm dia 350 mm long medium grade GI pipe spouts with wire gauge on inside mouth to be fixed.(ii) After the concrete is surface is completelydried rendering thesurfaces with 10 mm thick CM 1.4 mixed with integral water proofing compound of Ultra Tech WP+ 200 or other equivalent etc complete & later after the surface is completely dried and in presence ofEngineer-in-charge fill the entire sunken portionwith water for minimum threedays tocheck dampness and seepage where dampness and sweepage noticed nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out without any extra costtoGovt.(iii) All junctions points of side wall where CI / GI pipes are passing through shall be seated with epoxy putty.(iv) After drying putty wash the slab and sides of sunken porting with water and make it clean and clear.(v) Applying two coat polymer modified cementious water proofing coating as per manufactures instructions to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level + 100 mm height.The thickness of two layer shall be 1 mm.When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spry shall be carried out or vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed.(vi) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20 mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @3% wt of cement consumed as per manufacturer’s specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout.(WPC shall be measured & paid separately).Note :-Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage seepage and to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-incharge.Test shall be done in presenceof Engineer-in-chare orhis representative and record for each sunken slab shall be maintained.The treatment shall be carried out by authorized applicators of chemicals as ordered &Cost for above stage wise activity & testing is included in the rates quoted above. 53 M&L for 25 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.50mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in floor and finished the surface suitable to receivefloor tilescomplete all as directed. 54 M & L for 75 mm thick plain cement conctere 1: 3 : 6type C2 using 40 mm graded crushedstone aggregateas in sub base offlooringcomplete all as directed. 55 M & L for 75 mm thick plain cement conctere 1: 3 : 6type C2 using 40 mm graded crushedstone aggregateas in plinth protection finished the surface fairand even complete all as directed. 56 M & L non-skid coloured joint freeceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/rectangular), area of each tile each tile exceeding 0.11 Sqm butnotexceeding 0.18Sqm in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all directed and specified. 57 All same as per item No 56here -
