Apr 2025 Intervention Sector(s): Education To tackle the multifaceted challenges faced by vulnerable young people in Lebanon, Al Majmoua and PIL propose, under the DAEM project, a holistic approach to empower young people, their family, their community, while engaging a wider ecosystem of local stakeholders to ensure a systemic and durable improvement of conditions of young people in Lebanon. One of DAEM objectives is that access to employment opportunities of vulnerable job seekers is improved through enhanced marketable skills and linkages with employers. In order to strengthen the employability of youth and vulnerable populations through targeted Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs, DAEM aims to provide specialized training in high-demand sectors such as Administration and Office Management, Accounting, Hospitality, Catering, Haircare, Skincare, Nailcare, Beauty Treatments, Makeup Artistry, Mechanical Maintenance, HVAC Maintenance, Car and automotive Maintenance, Plumbing Maintenance, Woodwork, Painting, Steel and Welding, Tiling, Glass, Aluminum, Electricity (including Solar Energy, Photography, Videography, Social Media, and Agriculture. Duties and Responsibilities Design and deliver competency-based training programs for the identified vocational fields. Develop curricula and training materials aligned with labor market demands. Strengthen capacity among trainers and ensure high-quality training delivery, so to enhance the skills of participants. Complete daily attendance sheets assuring all signatures. Ensure to strictly follow Al Majmoua code of conduct, PSEAH and child protection policy. Deliverable/Training The service provider will be responsible to deliver the following: A detailed training plan and curricula for the following fields: Administration and Office Management: Office procedures, business communication, IT tools, business etiquette, body language, positive attitude, making records, and office management. Accounting: Bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll systems, and tax compliance. Hospitality: Inventory control, customer Service, and waiters/waitresses. Catering: Food safety and recipes practices. Haircare: Understanding different hair types, hair treatments and conditioning, and styling techniques and tools Skincare: Basic skincare routines, facial treatments and procedures, and skin analysis and product recommendations Nailcare: Nail hygiene and maintenance, manicures and pedicures, and nail art and design techniques. Beauty Treatments: Waxing, threading, and other hair removal methods, body treatments and massages, and anti-aging and rejuvenation techniques. Makeup Artistry: Basic and advanced makeup techniques, color theory and product selection, and bridal and special occasion makeup. Mechanical Maintenance: Understanding mechanical systems and component, preventive maintenance techniques, and troubleshooting and repair methods. HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Maintenance: Basics of HVAC systems and their components, preventive maintenance and repairs, and troubleshooting common HVAC issues. Car and automotive Maintenance: Basic vehicle care and maintenance, engine diagnostics and repair, and tire, brake, fluid maintenance, routine car maintenance tasks (oil changes, air filter, etc.), diagnostics of automotive issues, car electrical systems and troubleshooting. Social Media: Social media platforms overview (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), creating and managing social media marketing strategies, engaging with audiences and building an online community, analytics and metrics to track social media performance, and paid advertising on social platforms (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) Agriculture: Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Design and deliver a comprehensive training program adapted to the target group Deliver the training program to 300 participants (split into different groups attending different type of technical trainings) in Central Beqaa. Provide a suitable venue for the training sessions with all necessary facilities. Supply necessary refreshments and stationery for the participants. Conduct pre-training and post-training assessments to measure the progress of participants. Provide an assessment report for each participant. Agenda of the course for each group. Coordinate with Al Majmoua team about all training sessions. Daily attendance sheets signed by participants and trainers.
