Tenders are invited for Construction of Unyama Irrigation Scheme Infrastructure and Facilities in Gulu and Amuru District Construction of Unyama Irrigation Scheme Infrastructure and Facilities in Gulu and Amuru Districts. The Scope of Works entails: (a) Construction of Diversion works (b) Construction of a 33 m high zoned earth fill dam. (c) Construction of a chute spillway located on the right bank of the dam, designed to discharge a flood of 86.4 m3 /s, with a return period of 10,000 y comprising an approach channel, ogee weir, and chute channel with stilling basin. (d) Construction of outlet works comprising an approach channel, intake tower, water conveyance conduit and terminal structures (e) Construction of irrigation network comprising of lined main and secondary canals, unlined tertiary canals and field channels, and unlined interceptor, secondary, tertiary, and field drains. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Uganda Shillings Eight Hundred Fifty Million Only (Shs. 850,000,000). Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 11: 00 a.m. Ugandan time on 6 th May 2025 physically or by courier. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
