Kvinesdal Municipal Building (Hereafter Kb) Has Been Commissioned By Kvinesdal Municipal Council To Provide Premises To The Sørlandet Science Center And Co -Located Municipal Enterprises In The Center Of Liknes, As Well As Facilitate A Larger Center Development In The Pharmacy Quarter. The Main Purpose Of The Project Is To Increase The Attraction Of The Center, Facilitate Increased Street Life, More Visitors, More Trade, More Jobs And A Social Arena For Use Of And For Several Generations. In Addition, The Establishment Of The Science Center Will Help To Strengthen Local Education And Competence Enhancement, Technology And Innovation. By Organizing Plots And Having Kb As Tenants, Kb Wants A Larger Center Development Project To Be Realized, In Addition To The Minimum Requirements That Kb Sets. The Project Is Organized With 3 Plots Of Approx. 1,700M2. The Plots Are Partly Municipal And Partly Private Plots. Kb Has Entered Into Option Agreements For The Purchase Of These For Any Project Start. Kb Needs To Rent An Area Of Approx. 1,000M2, But As An Option Can Also Be Responsible For Renting An Additional 600 M2 In The Building, As Well As Renting Up To 10 Apartments With Associated Common Areas In The Building. The Project Has Generated Great Interest Among Actors In The Local Community And Several Relevant Tenants And Stakeholders Have Signaled That It May Be Appropriate To Rent In The New Quarter. Kb And Other Players In The Municipality Will Help With The Facilitation Of The Project Above A Supplier.
