Based Upon The Contents Of The Geoscientist’S Well Redevelopment Report From Phase 1 Of This Project. Verification Of The Recommended Pump And Motor Replacement To Be Reviewed By The Regional District’S Engineer Of Record. C) Services Required To Be Completed By A Registered Well Driller Or Pump Installer In British Columbia And A Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) Or Approved Equivalent: I) Complete A 48-Hour Constant Rate Pump Draw Down Performance Test And Interpret The Results To Demonstrate The Performance Of The New Pump And Motor. The Contractor To Provide A P.Geo. Stamped Pump Curve And Stamped Hydrological Report To The Regional District In The Form Of A Submittal For Review And Comment Prior To Ordering The Replacement Pump And Motor Assembly. Ii) Once The New Motor And Pump Assembly Is Installed And The Remaining Work Is Completed, The Pump Station Facility To Be Successfully Commissioned By Completing A Minimum 48-Hour Fault Free Continuous Automated Operation. 2) Construction Works: A) Removal And Disposal Of The Utility Valve Vault, Slab, And Footings. B) Supply And Install The Required Base, Precast Valve Vault And Specified Lid As Shown On The Drawings. C) Construct Site Mechanical Improvements With The Installation Of A New Accessible Valve Vault To House The Mechanical Pipe Appurtenances And Flow Controller. 3) Electrical, Mechanical And Control Works: All Components, Where Applicable, To Adhere To The Canadian Electrical Code (Cec) Standards. E) Installation Of A Well Level Data Loggers With Sounding Tubes. 4) Utility Works: A) Complete All Site Civil Improvements Including The Removal Of The Below Ground Well Head Followed By The Raising To Above Grade And Connecting To The Distribution System. B) Upsizing The Existing And Undersized 100Mm Discharge Piping That Leaves The Well Head To New 200Mm Class 52 Ductile Iron Piping Complete With All New Valving And Service Lines. C) The Replacement Of The Two (2) Existing Distribution Gate Valves With New 200Mm Valves.
