District Heating - Delivery Of Heat For The Gifhorn District And The Meinersen Community For Properties In The Meinersen Community.. The District Of Gifhorn And The Velvet Community Meinersen Are Carriers Of Various Facilities Of The Meinersen School And Sports Center. These Include A High School, A Secondary School, A Secondary School (All-Day School), Two Sports Halls And A Forest Pool (Together School And Sports Center). The Heat And Sports Center Is Currently Being Served Over A Nearby Biogas Plant. The Biogas Plant Is Connected To The Technology Center Of The School And Sports Center Via District Heating Line. In Order To Bridge Performance Peaks Or Downtime, Two Oil Boilers Are Also Installed In The Heating Center That Supports If Necessary. The Oil Heating Is Currently Operated By The Gifhorn District. There Is No Connection To An Existing Gas Network.
