Tenders are invited for Municipal and Transport Infrastructure, by Improving Accessibility and Adventure Tourism Infrastructure in Albanian Alps. ECEPP ID: 37068366 The project will be developed in the village of Bogë, which is part of the Municipality of Malësi e Madhe and is located within the boundaries of the Albanian Alps Protected Area. It lies in the North-Eastern part of the territory of the Municipality of Malësia e Madhe in a mountainous terrain. This village is positioned in the following geographic coordinates: 42°243.98"N latitude and 19°3915.01"E longitude. The village of Bogë lies in a wide valley of the same name, at an altitude of 950 m above sea level, surrounded by the mountain peaks of the Albanian Alps, which reach from 2000 to 2500 m in height. The Albania Infrastructure and Tourism-Enabling Project the Project is financed by the European Union through technical assistance and investments grants for a total amount of EUR 40 million, and by complementary sovereign loan facility provided by the EBRD to the Government of Albania. The Project is implemented by the Albanian Development Fund as executing agency (the Client) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank). The EU grants are identified by the EU in close cooperation with the Albanian Development Fund. Grant Recipient is: Republic of Albania.
