Tender For Special Repair To Roads In The Aor Of Age B/R-Ii Under Ge 865 Ews; 1 Repair to potholes any depth, not exc1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) but makning good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in peremixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed. 2 M & L for preparing black top road surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer VG-10 @ 5Kg/10Sqm complete all as specified and directed. 3 Providing Premix bituminous, macadam using HMP laid rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using binder with paving bitumen VG10 minimum 4% by weight of total mix all as specified(consolidated thickness 75mm or less) Note (i)work shall be executed as per design mix Govt Approved Lab /Govt Engr college as approved by GE(ii)The binder content specified is minimum .Any variation in binder content during desing mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the government 4 Providing Bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix,using paving bitumen (VG-10), rolled using power roller 8 to 12tonne capacity and compacted to required camber and gradient complete .Note :-(i)Work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE(ii)The binder content specified is minimum .Any variation in binder content during desing mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the government 5 Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directe 6 M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road andmarking 2.5mmthickcentrelines,stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10 cm wide on roadspavementswithhotapplied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machineall as per manufacturers instructionscompleteallasspecifiedand directed. 7 S & F in repair road ultra mind convex mirror ( road safety sign) of size 1000mm dia fixed with stainless steel pole of size 75mm dia with grouting in & including PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 as in base of minimum height 1.75m complete all as specified and directed. 8 Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed. 9 Supplying and fixing retro reflective Cautionary /warning sign boards of equilateral triangular shape having each side of 900 mm with support length of 3650 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x5 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Tee support to be painted in black and white colours).Backside of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over and including appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawing , specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge,
