Purchase And Development Of Municipally Owned Lands . The Town Of Smoky Lake (The “Town”) Is Seeking A Proposal For The Purchase And Development Of An 18,060 Sq. Feet Parcel Of Land (The “Lands”) In The Town Of Smoky Lake. The Land Is For Sale Through This Publicly Advertised Request For Proposal (The “Rfp”) Process. It Is Intended That The Land Be Sold To A Successful Development Proponent (The “Proponent”) For The Purposes That The Lands Be Developed With A Minimum Of Four (4) Housing Units. The Town Will Partner With The Successful Proponent, Through The Housing Accelerator Fund Grant, Providing The Land (Assessment Value $49,800) And Waiving The Town’S Connection Fee For Utilities ($7,500 Per Connection Of Water/Sewer/Gas). In Return, The Proponent Will Enter Into An Agreement To Rent/Sell The Properties, In Adherence With The Town’S Affordable Housing Policy A-35-2024. Land Description: • Rezoning To R3 Residential High Density District • Land Area = 18,060 Sq. Feet (Approximately 129’ X 140’) • Water/Sewer Lines Run Adjacent To The Property • Gas Line Runs Onto The Property The Town Is Seeking Sealed Proposals For A Proposal For The Development On Town-Owned Land Located At Lot 8A, Block 1, Plan 1885Cl (4704 – 50 Street & 4706 – 50 Street, Smoky Lake), To Be Developed With A Minimum Of Four (4) Housing Units, To Be Rented/Sold In Adherence With The Town Of Smoky Lake Affordable Housing Policy A-35-2024. Ownership Will Be Transferred To The Proponent Upon Completion Of The Development.
