Counselling Services – 81314809-Awareness On Female Genital Mutilation And Gender-Based Violence In Africa By Improving Communication And Capacities. The Objective Of The Assignment Development And Production Of Communication Products And Awareness-Raising Material About Female Genital Mutilation And Gender-Based Violence Is To Develop A Coherent And Comprehensive Communication Strategy For The Regional Programme Improving The Prevention Of Female Genital Mutilation That Fits Into The Political Narrative Of The German Feminist Development Policy And To Support The Development Of Identified Communication Tools And Materials Including Social Media, Text Writing/Editing, Layout And Design Of Publications. Better Communication Of Results On The Prevention Of Fgm And Other Related Forms Of Gbv Will Help The Fgm-Prev Project Showcase Its Relevance To Partners, The Commissioning Party As Well As The General Public. The Contractor Will Provide A Range Of Communication And Design Services, As Well As Advisory Services And Capacity Building For Local Implementation Partners. The Contract Comprises Three Work Packages. Work Package A Development And Production Of Awareness-Raising Material On Fgm And Gbv Focuses On Supporting Local Community-Based Organizations In The Field Of Communication - By Developing Context Specific Communication Strategies And Producing Awareness-Raising Material For Different Target Groups. Based On These Communication Strategies, The Contractor Will, In Collaboration With The Projects Partners, Develop And Produce High-Quality, Context-Specific, Culturally Sensitive Awareness-Raising Material That Addresses Different Target Groups In Ethiopia, Somalia And Sudan. The Beneficiaries Of The Services Are The Project Partners Who Are Implementing The Generation Dialogue Approach As Well As The Community-Initiative Fund In Somalia, Sudan And Ethiopia. Work Package B Capacity Building In The Field Of Communication And Storytelling For Generation Dialogue Implementers And Community-Initiative Fund Partners Focuses On Strengthening The Capacities Of The Project Partners With A Strong Focus On Storytelling, Awareness-Raising And Advocacy Strategies, Photography And Videography As Well As The Development Of Human Impact Stories. Work Package C Communication Products To Ensure The Strategic Visibility Of The Giz Regional Programme Activities And Results Focuses On Communication Products For Internal And External Use To Promote The Activities And Achievements Of The Giz Regional Programme. The Goal Is To Document Different Types Of Interventions, Concrete Results And Events And To Share Best Practices And Human Impact Stories To Reach Different Audiences.
