The Center Coordinator will be responsible for managing center operations, ensuring effective program implementation, engaging with communities, and reporting on activities. This position requires strong leadership, coordination skills, and experience in education and community engagement. The Center Coordinator will work closely with school principals, local stakeholders, AICAs project team, and humanitarian partners to ensure that the centers provide high-quality services aligned with OCHAs Localization Strategy and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) principles. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations and administration of the assigned center. Ensure that the centers activities align with OCHA project objectives and AICAs policies. Develop and implement community engagement strategies to enhance local participation. Supervise and support center staff, ensuring clarity of roles and accountability. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, ensuring compliance with AICA and donor reporting requirements. Foster partnerships with local authorities, school directors, and humanitarian actors. Conduct awareness sessions and community meetings to ensure localization and sustainability. Maintain accurate records of center activities and beneficiary data. Eligibility Criteria: Education: Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Education, Public Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, education management, or community engagement, preferably within the humanitarian sector. Technical Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and reporting skills. Compliance: Familiarity with OCHA-funded projects, education sector initiatives, and AICAs policies. Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English; French is an asset. Conduct: Must adhere to AICAs Safeguarding and Anti-Corruption Policies. Compensation & Contract Details: Salary: $600 per month (subject to 8.5% Non-Residential Tax deduction as per Lebanese labor law). Work Schedule: Full-time (Monday Friday, flexible hours for community engagement). Contract Type: Consultancy-based service provider agreement.
