Request for proposals for Engagement of Medical Research Firm/Institution for Analysis of Chemoprevention Efficacy SPAQ (CPES) Samples Collected in Kwara State, Nigeria. 7. Malaria Consortium reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Malaria Consortium and is not bound to accept the lowest priced bid submitted. 8. Malaria Consortium reserves the right to award contracts to multiple vendors if deemed to be in its best interest. 9. The award criteria shall be based on the proposals overall response and value for money while taking into consideration donor and internal requirements and regulations. The award will be determined by a committee of Malaria Consortium employees. 10. The successful vendor shall receive a contract and deliver the service. The contract can be extended upon agreement by both parties. 11. The language for communications and required documents will be in English Technical Requirements & Specifications Specific tasks a. Identify and provide dedicated personnel to carry out all the tasks specified to adequately support the study. b. Collect blood samples for the chemoprevention efficacy study from NIMR and coordinate with the PI in Kwara state and focal person at Malaria Consortium for the analysis of blood samples. c. Take responsibility for the blood samples collected from NIMR ensuring adequate quality assurance mechanisms are put in place and followed throughout the period of the sample analysis. d. Sign the Data & Materials Transfer Agreement (DMTA) along with all relevant signatories as per the study protocol. e. Coordinate with all other collaborating institutions (NMEP, Malaria Consortium, NIMR etc.), ensuring that key tasks/activities are undertaken, and the objectives of the studies are achieved, while adhering to the highest scientific standards. f. Provide a detailed report outlining the findings from the analysis of the blood samples for the Chemoprevention Efficacy study in Kwara state to Malaria Consortium and NMEP.
