Tenders are invited for Mapping of Local Conflict Resolution Mechanisms. Conduct assessment and mapping of local mechanisms in Salahdin Governorate Baiji District to : Mapping ap existing local mechanisms and structures that address tension and conflict in Baiji district. Assess the current functionality, inclusiveness, and effectiveness of these mechanisms. identify the different conflict resolution mechanisms in place Identify capacity-building needs to understanding of conflict resolution mechanisms specific to the for HIs Community Safety Committee 3- Requirements and Deliverables Conduct Assessment for the local mechanisms available in the area of HI operation Develop methodology for the mapping of conflict resolution mechanism Design and implement qualitative and quantitative research tools, including interviews, focus group discussions, with local stakeholders. Produce actionable recommendations on capacity-building needs and opportunities for engagement with existing mechanisms. Apply these capacity building recommendations with HIs four CSC, improving their understanding of effective conflict resolution mechanism and local resolution mapping 4- Duration and Timeline Delivery The work last for a total of 40 working days, starting from the date of contract signing. Key milestones include: Submission of inception report: 5 days from start date. Fieldwork and data collection: 15 days. Submission of final report and training capacity building package based on the result 10 days. Conduct training for the four CSC committee upon the recommendation. 5- Geographical Coverage Salah Al-Den Governorate Baiji district . 6- Responsibilities and Tasks Inception Report: A detailed work plan, methodology, and tools to be used during the assignment. Mapping Report: Report detailing the existing local mechanisms and peace structures, including their roles, effectiveness, and challenges. Capacity Needs Assessment: Identifying specific capacity gaps and areas for intervention and develop training package to be deliver to the CSC and based on the finding conduct training for the four CSC. Final Consolidated Report: A detailed report that includes findings, analysis, and actionable recommendations for strengthening CSC in Salahdin Governorate. 7- Qualifications and Experience Certification: certified qualification in peace building activities required Experience: Minimum of 2- 3 years of conflict analysis, peacebuilding, or related fields, preferably within similar context. Experience working in the Iraqi context Technical Skills: Proficiency in conflict (sensitivity and resolution ), peace and violence. Neutrality and commitment to humanitarian and development concepts and principles. 8- Duration Contract Period: The contract period is until end of July 2025. 9- Performance Standards Quality Assurance: The quality of training will be developed tailored to the context and topic specific. Feedback Mechanism: HI will also include a system for collecting and addressing feedback from the participants. 10- Ethical Considerations Confidentiality: Uphold confidentiality of all information communicated during the activity. 11- Compensation and Payment Terms Fee Structure: The payment structure, including rates of the services and any additional expenses (e.g., travel, accommodation, hospitality for the FGD) should be detailed out by the Applicant.
