Tenders are invited for Supply of Security Services for 07 Institutions under the Purview of the Department of Cultural Affairs. The Chairman, Department Procurement Committee on behalf of the Department of Cultural Affairs now invites sealed bids from qualified bidders for the supply of security services, for 07 institutions under the purview of the Department of Cultural Affairs, (Uthuru Dakunu Mithuru Sevana - Mihinthale, National Art Gallery & John de Silva Memorial Theater - Colombo 07, National Arts Academy Kundasale, Sinhala Dictionary Office- Colombo 07 /, Charikaramaya Book Store- Colombo07, WalisinghaHarischandra Cultural Centre - Negombo) Ediriweera Sarachchandra Drama Training School Thalangama, under the National Competitive Bidding Procedure for a period of one year from 01.04.2025 - 31.03.2026. The validity period of the bids is 77 days from the last date of receipt of the bids. Every Bidding Document should accompany the original copy of the refundable bid bond as above, obtained in favor of the Director, Department of Cultural Affairs from a commercial bank, registered in the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The bidder should be a provider of security services for the government/semi government institutions and should have minimum of not less than 05 successive years service experience since the company registration date, certificate of the company registration, registration permit from the Ministry of Defense and should not be blacklisted. Bidding documents could be obtained only in Sinhala language. Interested bidders could obtain bidding documents on working days during the period from 07.02.2025 to 27.02.2025 from 10.00 am until 3.00 pm from the Procurement Division of the Department of Cultural Affairs upon submission of a written request on a Letterhead of your Institution, addressed to the Director of Cultural Affairs, along with receipt of the non-refundable fee of Rs. 5000.00 paid to the Shroff, Department of Cultural Affairs. Duly filled sealed bids should be sent to reach the Director, Department of Cultural Affairs, 8th Floor, Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla by registered post or deposited in the Tender Box kept in the Office of the Accountant of the Department of Cultural Affairs before 28.02.2025 at 1.30 pm. Bids will be opened immediately after the receiving of bids on 28.02.2025 at 1.30 pm in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the Office of the Accountant of the Department of Cultural Affairs.
