Project: Tender20357 - Tarentorus Fish Culture Station Main Loading Dock Improvements . The Excavation Of The Current Main Parking Lot/Loading Ramp Area, Which Will Include Re-Structuring, Re-Grading, Adding Retain Walls, Drainage And Paving As Per The Prepared Drawings And Specifications. The Existing Parking Lot/Loading Ramp At The Tarentorus Fish Culture Station Does Not Allow For Transport Trucks To Enter The Loading Dock To Unload Feed Due To The Grade Being To Steep. Therefore, The Existing Area Is To Be Restructured To Allow Transport Truck To Enter The Loading Dock So Feed Can Be Unloaded From The Transport In A Safe Manner. Scope Of Work The Intent Of This Project Is To Regrade The Parking Lot And Loading Dock At The Tarentorus Fish Culture Station So That Transport Trucks Can Enter The Loading Bay As Outlined In The Contract Documents. The Scope Generally Comprises The Following: - Obtain, And Pay For, Public And Private Locates For The Construction Area - Provide Any Dewatering Required For The Installation Of The Works - Sawcut And Remove The Existing Asphalt As Shown On The Drawings (Remove Asphalt From Site) - Excavate And Regrade The Existing Soils As Shown (Excess Fill To Be Placed In A Location Onsite As Directed By The Fish Culture Station Manager) - Supply And Install New Storm Catch-Basins And Manholes As Shown - Supply And Install New Storm Piping As Shown And Connect To Existing Catchbasin-Manhole - Supply And Install Retaining Walls As Shown - Supply And Place New Concrete Curb As Shown - Establish Swales As Shown And Restore Swales With Topsoil, Seed, And Mulch - Supply And Place New Asphalt Complete With Step Joints As Shown - Repaint New Lines In The Parking Lot - Third-Party Compaction Testing, Concrete Testing, And Asphalt Testing Shall Be Arranged, And Paid For, By The Contractor. The Contractor Warrants That The Site Of The Work Has Been Visited During The Preparation Of The Tender And The Character Of The Work And All Local Conditions That Mat Affect The Performance Of The Work Are Known. It Is The Bidder’S Responsibility To Ask For Clarifications While Preparing Their Bid. Once The Project Is Awarded, If There Are Discrepancies On The Drawings Or Specifications, The Interpreter Of The Contract Documents Shall Be The Contract Administrator And Shall Be Consistent With The Intent Of The Contract Documents. In Making Such Interpretations And Findings The Contract Administrator Shall Not Show Partiality To Either Party. Mandatorysite Meeting Date And Time: February 19Th 10:00.(Toronto Time).
