The Purpose Of The Assignment Is To Increase The Free Passage Height Under The Bridge Of The Nijlensteenweg Over The Netekanaal In Nijlen And Ranst To 7.30 M. This Is Achieved By The Construction Of A New Bridge Over The Netekanaal And The Construction Of A New Bridge Over The Parallel On The Netekanaal Located Kleine Nete As Well As The Adjacent Cycle Path. The Project Is Part Of The Objective Of De Vlaamse Waterweg Nv To Make The Netekanaal And The Lower-Nete Navigable For Containers With Three Layers Of Containers And Class Iv Sheds In Function Of The Connection To The Trans European Network.
