Expression of Interest are invited for Development of an ITS-led and GIS-Based Climate Resilient System for Tanzania Central Railway The objective of the study is to facilitate strengthening of climate resilience of Tanzania Central railway infrastructure using ITS and GIS-based approaches. through the following activities: Conduct a study on the topographical conditions and natural hazard vulnerability of TRCs railway networks (MGR & SGR) and the associated catchment areas. Develop a GIS database encompassing railway infrastructure, related facilities, climate vulnerability assessment/mapping, and integration with the existing Flood Forecasting and Early Warning System under the Wami-Ruvu basin water Board. Integration of the digitized GIS database with the ITS design for the Central railway network. Transfer of tools and knowledge.
