IFCs client, a food products company operating across the Middle East, is exploring the potential expansion of its manufacturing operations to Central and Southern Iraq through the construction of a dairy products, ice cream, or tomato paste processing factory (the Project).The Project aims to establish local production of affordable food products for the Iraqi market while contributing to the countrys import substitution efforts. IFC is seeking to commission a detailed and targeted market assessment of the food processing sector in Iraq, notably dairy products, ice cream, and tomato paste, and with a focus on Central and Southern Iraq.
