Project Description The Grace-C Mission Is A Replacement For The Grace-Fo Mission, Which Will Continue To Create A Model Of The Earths Heavy Field With The Accuracy Already Achieved By Grace Fo And Deliver Global Climate Data During A Five-Year Mission. Grace-Fo Was Already The Replacement For The Grace Mission. Grace (Gravity Research And Climate Experiment) Consisted Of Two Identical Satellites, Which Flew At A Distance Of Around 200 Km On An Orbit At A Height Of 500 Km. The Aim Of The Grace Mission Was To Measure The Distance Between The Two Satellites Exactly And Thus To Map The Earths Heavy Field With An Unprecedented Accuracy. The General Structure And The Scientific Goal Of The Satellites Are Not Changed For Grace Fo And Finally Grace-C. 2. Description Of The Required Components The Following Components/Circuits Are Used In The Photo Receiver Or Back-End Amplifier As A Subsystem Of The Laser Ranging Interferometer (Lri). The Lri Builds A Heterodynes Interferometer Between The Satellites.
