available excavated soilin layers not exceeding 200 mm. thick including compaction of each deposited layer using hand / steel rammer with proper watering up to lift of 1.50 meters etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge 11 Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts & leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted as per MoRTH specifications 305 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge 12 Construction of Granular Sub-Base of grading V as per design spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface mixing by mix in place methodat OMC and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MoRTH specifications 401 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge 13 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver/grader in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density complete as per MoRTH specifications 406 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge 14 Providing and laying not less than 150 mm thick Stone Soling below floor & foundations bed etc. using hard, durable & approved quality stones, rubbles including filling Interstices using small size stones, stone chips, murum & watering [to fill up all gaps] etc. preparation of base properly, levelling, dressing & compaction at all locations etc. all complete as per specifications, drawing [if any] and as directed by engineer-in-charge 15 Providing and laying Plain Cement etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge 20 Providing & Constructing Masonry with standard quality CC Solid Blocks of standard size [Approved by EIC], having crushing strength not less than 75 Kgs/cm2& density between 1800 kg/cum to 2300 kg/cumin CM 1:5 for foundation [plinth, drains, walls & repair works etc.] & superstructure[walls] and all other miscellaneous masonry works for foundation & superstructure etc including simultaneous flush pointing, curing, preparation of base by close hacking / chipping the concrete / plastered surfaces & cleaning at all locations & lifts/heights etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .Note: 1] Wherever RCC and reinforcements is required, then it shall be paidinrelevant items 21 Providing, Fabricating & erection ofmiscellaneous structural steel work for Tubular sections, bolts, nuts, flats, plates, purlins, rafters, horizontal / vertical / cross members, columns, beams, trusses, plate EPs, windows & doors frames & shutters, grills, gates etc. and all other miscellaneous fabrication works including providing standard MS Steel Sections conforming to Indian standards which are required for executing this work and fixing / erecting with site welding the same in position to true line, level & plumb including providing & fixing hilti bolts [of 1st quality ] of suitable dia. & length [wherever required], preparation of base, providing & painting One Coat of approved Primer of 1st quality & of standard make at all locations & lifts /heights etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 22 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :Two coats on new work after thoroughly brooming the surface to remove all dirt, dust, mortar drops and foreign matter including preparing the surface even and sand paper smooth, cost of materials, labour complete as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. 23 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :Two coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture after thoroughly brooming the surface to remove all dirt, dust, mortar drops and foreign matter including preparing the surface even and sand paper smooth, cost of materials, labour complete as per specifications and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. 24 Providing and laying External Cement Plaster (New or Old repair / patch / rectification works) 18 mm thick in Two Coats. Base coat shall be 12 mm thick in CM 1:5 & finishing coat shall be 6 mm thick in CM 1:3 (sponge finished) rubbed perfectly so as to obtain smooth & even finish including curing; including providing and fixing with all necessary consumables fixtures chicken wire or fibre mesh over the junction/interface of different material surfacesuch as RCC/Masonry wherever required; including preparation of base by close hacking / chipping the concrete / plastered surfaces & cleaning at all locations & lifts / heights etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 25 Carrying out Dismantling/ Demolitioncarefully the existing RCC structural elements at all elevations by manual or mechanical means including all necessary equipments such as drilling machine, cutting machine, gas cutter etc. necessary manpower and including collecting & stacking neatly all serviceable materialsat NPCIL site store/as directed by EIC and disposing off unwanted material to appropriate disposing area within 2 Km at all locations and at all lifts & heights etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by engineer-in-charge 26 Carrying out Dismantling/ Demolitioncarefully the existing PCC at all elevations by manual or mechanical means including all necessary equipments such as drilling machine, chisellingetc., necessary manpower and disposing off unwanted material to appropriate disposing area within 2 Km and spreading the debris at all locations etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by engineer-in-charge 27 Carrying out Dismantling/ Demolitioncarefully the existingplastered Brick /block masonry in cement mortar at all elevations by manual or mechanical means including all necessary equipments such as drilling machine, chisellingetc., necessary manpower and disposing off unwanted material to appropriate disposing area within 2 Km and spreading the debris at all locations etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by engineer-in-charge 28 Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. at all lead & lifts/heights and stacking the serviceable materials at NPCIL site store/as directed by EIC. all complete as per specifications and as directed by engineer-in-charge.. 29 Providing and fixing RCC precast fencing pole of standard size including RCC Y arm of standard sizefor a maximum height of (10+2) feet + necessary embedment in PCC/RCC pedestal with minimum thickness of 6 inches at vertical portion andcasted in M 20 with 20mm down size aggregatesusing steel moulding , curing , transportation to work spot including excavation in all types of soil, fixing in PCC/RCC including aligning to plumb and lineincluding cost of all materials, labour,usage charges of machinery at all locations & at all lifts / heights etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge 30 Providing and fixing minimum 3 mm dia. [to achieve outer diaof at least 4 mm] thick PVC Coated [of standard make and of colour / shade - as per site requirement & as selected by engineer-in-charge] Chain-link fabric fence and of mesh opening 50 X 50 mm including reinforcing with GI wires [of 1st quality & of standard make] of 8 gauge at top, middle and bottom [total 3 rows], fixing chain link mesh to the existing RCC / GI / MS Pipes/ fencing posts & fencing struts using MS flats [ 6 mm. thick] and 8 mm. dia and 110 mm. long self threading screws [GI] with rounded headat all locations & at all lifts / heights etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge Note: MS flats6 mm. thick will be measured & paid as per relevant item 31 Providing & installing 600 mm dia GI punched tape Concertina Coil (10m open-able length) up to 3.2 meter height overY shape posts & incl. 9 Nos. of 4mm dia. horizontal RBT barbed wire , stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron and tying with suitable gauge GI wire [ J clips & GI wire shall be of suitable gauge, of standard make], at regular interval by maintaining the proper & required pitch distance atall location &at all lifts/heights. etc. all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge Note: Structural steel works shall be paid Separately as per the relevant item
