Tenders are invited for Procurement of 220kv Control and Relay Panels Alongwith Design, Installation, Testing & Commissioning for Addition of 02 Line Bays at 220kv Nowshera Grid Station Deadline for Submission of Bids: March 10, 2025 at 11:00am (Pakistan Standard Time) 1. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received the financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Power Transmission Strengthening Project (PTSP). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. 2. The National Transmission and Despatch Company - NTDC (?the Employer?) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the ?Procurement of 220kV Control and Relay panels along with Design, Installation, Testing & Commissioning for Addition of 02 Line Bays at 220kV Nowshera Grid Station? (?the Facilities?). The Works shall be executed as mentioned below: Sr. No Description Quantity 1 Procurement of 220kV Control, Relay, AC/DC Panels alongwith Design, Installation, Testing & Commissioning for Addition of 02 Line Bays at 220kV Nowshera Grid Station Lot 3. Bidders may submit a bid for the single contract/Lot and discounts offered (if any) in this Tender. Since there is only one contract/Lot, discounts for multiple contracts awards do not apply. 4. Open competitive bidding (international advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB?s Single-Stage: One Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. 5. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications defined in the Bidding Document may participate in this bidding: Bidder?s contractual Experience Experience in Key Activities Participation as a contractor, Joint Venture partner, or subcontractor, in at least one contract that has been satisfactorily and substantially completed within the last (ten) 10 years and that is similar to the proposed contract, where the value of the Bidder?s participation exceeds the amount mentioned below. The similarity of the Bidder?s participation shall be based on: 1. the physical size 2. nature of works 3. complexity, methods 4. technology and 5. other characteristics as described in Section 6, (Employer?s Requirements). US$ 0.1421 Million or equivalent. A. Design & Manufacturing: The bidder or its proposed subcontractor should have experience of Design and manufacturing of 220kV or higher Control, Relay, AC/DC Panels similar to the scope as mentioned in Section-6 of BD (Employer?s Requirements) during last 10 years against single or multiple contracts and operating satisfactorily for at least three (03) consecutive years as of the bid opening date. B. Installation, Testing & commissioning Services: The bidder or its proposed subcontractor should have experience of Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 220kV or higher Control, Relay, AC/DC Panels similar to the scope as mentioned in Section-6 of BD (Employer?s Requirements) in last 10 years against single or multiple contracts and operating satisfactorily for at least three (03) consecutive years as of the bid opening date. 6.
