Sewage-Treatment Plant Construction Work – Expansion And Modernization Of The Sewage Treatment Plant In Kęty – Biological Part. Development Of The Design, Obtaining A Building Permit And Execution Of Construction Works Under Contractual Conditions For Devices And Design And Construction For Electrical And Mechanical Devices As Well As Engineering And Construction Works Designed By The Contractor As Part Of The Investment Task Entitled Expansion And Modernization Of The Sewage Treatment Plant In Kęty - Biological Part The Task Consists Primarily In The Thorough Modernization And Reconstruction Of Some Of The Sewage Line Facilities And Expansion Of The Biological Part To Meet The Designated Parameters. The Basic Deficiencies In The Biological Part Of The Sewage Treatment Plant Are Too Small Capacity Of Subsequent Sewage Treatment Zones, Which Means That The Design Size Of The Sewage Treatment Plant In Kęty Does Not Cover The Size Of The Kęty Agglomeration. The Installation Is Currently Used As A Mechanical-Biological Treatment Plant For Municipal Sewage Flowing From The Kęty Agglomeration And Adjacent Communes In An Amount Of Approximately Qaverage = 8,200 M3/D. Currently, The Treatment Plant Has A Design Size Of 23,330 Pe, And The Agglomeration Has A Size Of 31,560 Pe (1Mk = 1 Pe). Mostly Sewage From The Kęty Commune And Part Of The Porąbka Commune Is Discharged To The Sewage Treatment Plant In Kęty. Sewage From The Citys Industrial Plants, As Well As From Areas Without Sewage Systems, Is Also Supplied To The Sanitary Network In The Form Of Sewage Transported By Slurry Tankers And Accepted Into The Sewage Catchment Area (The Percentage Of Industrial And Transported Sewage Is Small). The Sewage Treatment Plants Catchment Area Is Also Supplied With Its Own Sewage Generated In The Sludge Treatment Processes. Loads Of Post-Process Water Significantly Change The Composition Of The Feedwater. Updated Calculations And Load Balances For The Sewage Treatment Plants Catchment Area Show The Need To Expand It To 49,229 Pe. The Task Assumes The Construction Of New Facilities: • A Two-Station Catchment Station; • A Stone Catcher; • A Separation Chamber For A Sand Trap; • Three Sewage Separation Chambers; • Two Radial Secondary Settling Tanks; • A Regulating Chamber For Secondary Settling Tanks; • An Internal Recirculation Pumping Station; • A Retention Tank For Leachates; Modernization And, If Necessary, Expansion Of Existing Facilities: • Sand Trap With A Sand Washer; • Main Sewage Pumping Station With Pressure Collectors; • Rainwater Settling Tanks; • Biological Reactors; • Existing Secondary Settling Tanks; • Technological Sewage Troughs; • Blower And External Recirculation Station Building; • Purified Sewage Measuring Chamber; Liquidation Of Unnecessary Facilities And Installations: • Old Tank Sludge; • Existing Catchment Station; • Existing Internal Recirculation Pumping Stations. The Investment Also Includes The Construction Of Access Roads To The Facilities And Sidewalks, Drip Trays And The Necessary Connections Between Facilities. The Implementation Of The Investment Is Intended To Contribute To Achieving Compliance Of The Sewage Disposal And Treatment System In The Kęty Agglomeration With Directive 91/271/Eec On Municipal Sewage Treatment And Compliance
