This Document Presents The User Requirements For The New Sterilization Logistics Transport Cabinets (Ster2.0). The Cabinets Meet The Recommendations Of The “Swiss Guide For The Transport Of Soiled And Reprocessed Reusable Medical Devices For Sterilization Centers” (2021 Edition). Transport Is Carried Out By Electric Truck Between The University Hospitals Of Geneva And The Sterilization In Vernier. The Number Of Rotations Is Estimated Between Three And Four Per Day. From Unloading At The Unloading Dock, The Cabinets Are Towed By Electric Tractors Through The Hospital Underground And Transported To The Final Destinations. Arriving In The Dedicated Areas, The Racks Containing The Sterile Equipment Are Unloaded From The Cabinets And Transported To The Operating Theaters. The Cabinets Are Then Reloaded With Racks Containing Soiled, Pre-Disinfected Equipment, And They Are Transported In The Opposite Direction To Sterilization In Vernier.
